In celebration of the beginning of a new academic year, the Center for Retailing Excellence is pleased to welcome all new and returning students back to the University of Arkansas.  The staff of the Center, the Center Executive Board of Directors, and our Student Advisory Board invite all students to join us at the Walton College Welcome Back Block Party for hot dogs, pizza, frozen custard, cookies and soft drinks on August 27th from 11am to 12pm in Shollmier Plaza.  There is no charge for this event and in addition to free food Center staff members will be distributing welcome back survival kits furnished by our executive board of directors as their way of introducing themselves to you.  Kits will contain granola bars, silly string, pens, Razorback red temporary hair dye (a must for the football games,) stress squeeze toys, and lots of great stuff you'll be glad you have!  There will also be a drawing for a portable DVD player to be given away to one lucky student.  Please join us on August 27th for hot dogs, pizza, sodas and lots of free stuff and don't forget to register to win this terrific prize.
